Giles Hanglin

CEO Designate

Giles leads the Cambridge Power Ltd business. He developed his energy expertise during 10 years at Savills (UK) Ltd where he set up and ran part of the Savills Energy national team specialising in commercial solar investment and deployment for private and institutional clients. Having now set up his own business, he advises on private energy investment projects.

Connie Turner

Energy Projects Development Surveyor

Connie joined Pigeon in January 2021 to assist predominantly with the rapid growth of Cambridge Power Ltd. Connie works with the team to identify and secure new energy storage and generation projects. Connie previously worked as a land agent in the Eastern region and is a qualified Chartered Surveyor.

Ed Lowe

Senior Land Manager

Ed joined Pigeon in June 2019 and is responsible for managing existing projects and sourcing new opportunities for land promotion across the East of England. Ed has previously worked for Countryside Properties, Barratt David Wilson and Gladman where his roles included securing both strategic and immediate opportunities throughout the East and South East of England, and ongoing project management. Ed also has experience in the financial markets starting his career at Hawksmoor Investment Management. Ed is a qualified Chartered Surveyor.

Emma Butler

Graduate Surveyor

Emma joined Pigeon in 2019 after completing a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate at the Royal Agricultural University. She is enrolled with the RICS and currently working towards her APC qualification through the commercial real estate pathway.

Neil Waterson

Senior Planning Manager

Neil joined Pigeon in September 2018, bringing over 18 years of experience from a planning consultancy background within London and the Eastern Region, latterly as a Partner at Bidwells. During his time in consultancy Neil gained extensive experience in land promotion and was responsible for delivering a wide range of schemes including residential, commercial, infrastructure, retail and leisure developments. Neil’s specialist knowledge and experience, with particular expertise in housing land supply, economic development and Environmental Impact Assessment further strengthens Pigeon’s development team.

Ryan Bruty

Senior Technical Manager

Ryan, a qualified Civil Engineer, joined Pigeon in July 2016 following 12 years spent with Taylor Wimpey plc where he was responsible for infrastructure design and the management of a variety of external engineering disciplines for the company. Ryan’s civil engineering background, technical knowledge and extensive commercial experience of housebuilding makes a valuable contribution to the work of the Pigeon development team.

Richard Stanton

Director – Pigeon Investment Management Limited

Richard has a wide range of commercial experience gained from leadership roles in the property, agricultural, cleantech and financial sectors. Having co-founded Pigeon, Richard manages the day to day Pigeon business.

William Stanton

Director – Pigeon Investment Management Limited

William is a co-founder of Pigeon and was formerly a Board member of Savills (L&P) where he had overall responsibility for the Eastern Region. He has extensive knowledge and experience of the property markets, identifying opportunities and providing financial solutions to complex property matters.

Ian Plumb

Finance Director – Pigeon Investment Management Limited

Ian joined Pigeon in 2016 and was appointed to the Board as Finance Director in 2019 . Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Baker Tilly, Ian worked with Greene King, Acteon, and Willis, in a range of financial roles, with particular experience in project management and strategic business planning. Ian is responsible for all Pigeon financial matters, and management of the Finance Department.
