Further to the successful development and sale of the 50 MW BESS at Burwell, Cambridge Power has now received planning permission from East Cambridgeshire District Council for an additional 30 MW.
This is located adjacent to the original 50 MW project. This BESS benefits from the extra grid connection capacity and a 40 year lease from the landowner, furthering the provision of local grid services in Burwell.
